ADMINISTRATIVE TRUST FUNDSTATE FUNDS - NONMATCHING450,000
Total: Issue450,0000.00
Justification
Governor's Recommendations 2023-24

The Governor's Budget Recommendation for Fiscal Year 2023-2024 includes $450,000 to maintain, support and enhance
SunFocus. SunFocus interfaces with FLAIR, the state's accounting system, the Florida Financial Management Information
System (FFMIS) and supports Agency-unique financial functions, with the most critical being the Medicaid Run, which
manages funding allocations and processes payments of $30 billion annually.

Funds are requested to support staff augmentation resources to maintain, support and enhance SunFocus. Necessary updates
include improving the federal draw process, revenue collection process (automate the past due notice process for
facilities as well as printing and mailing of invoices for multiple revenue types), trust fund analysis process, and the
integration with the Florida Health Care Connection (FX) Core/Payment processing module.

ADMINISTRATIVE TRUST FUNDSTATE FUNDS - NONMATCHING(450,000)
Total: Issue(450,000)0.00
Justification
Governor's Recommendations 2023-24

Appropriations intended for only one year are automatically inversed (added or reduced) from the budget because these
amounts were carried forward from the prior fiscal year. This does not reflect a budget increase or reduction. It is
merely carrying out the intent of the Legislature from the prior fiscal year.
