Governor's Recommendations 2023-24

COMPLIANCE WITH THE AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT

The Governor's Budget Recommendation for Fiscal Year 2023-24 includes $1,100,000 nonrecurring Supervision Trust Fund
authority for the correction of disability code compliance issues within the Florida Facilities Pool. For Fiscal Year
2023-24, the funds will be used for ADA corrections to the Rohde building and garage in Miami.

This issue was requested in the department's Legislative Budget Request.

LIFE SAFETY CODE COMPLIANCE PROJECTS STATEWIDE - DMS MGD

The Governor's Budget Recommendation for Fiscal Year 2023-24 includes $800,000 nonrecurring Supervision Trust Fund
authority to address correction of fire, life safety, and health deficiencies within the Florida Facilities Pool. The
building scheduled for repair in FY 2023-24 is the Rohde Building in Miami to replace a generator.
